Nehru Institute of Health Science proactively organised World Hypertension Day on 29th June, 2025, our students raised an awareness about hypertension., our college B.Sc., Cardiac Technology students conducted a blood pressure awareness camp for all students of NIHS. The event allowed students to check their blood pressure, receive personalized advice, and learn the importance of monitoring cardiovascular health. Our B.Sc., Cardiac Technology Students also shared valuable information on lifestyle changes to prevent hypertension. The camp was a huge success, with active participation from students. Outcome of the Program: A total of 57 Students and 7 faculties participated in the blood pressure screening camp. They gained valuable knowledge about hypertension, its risks, and prevention methods. The session helped increase awareness and encouraged healthier lifestyle habits among the participants.
